How to self install a back glass on a GMC Sierra 1999?
Riding down the road today-hear a loud POP-and look back to see the back glass spidering.got the lil one up front and 2 minutes later it shattered completely..long story short,we found a salvaged one for elcheapo,and would rather DIY.Everyone wants outrageous labor costs around here…so can anyone tell us how to install the gasket and the glass for a secure fit..how do we prevent leakage with the gasket etc…thanks bunches!
This uses an encapsulated back glass…………call your local glass company…..( Binswanger, safelight, or PPG )…they can install these pretty darn cheap.
